The sponsorship rights will extend till the FIFA World Cup 2014 and the FA Cup. In these two and a half years, William Hill will also enjoy the rights to use the logo of the FIFA Cup. The statement, which announced the sponsorship deal, did not mention the cost of the agreement.

The chief executive officer of William Hill, Ralph Topping expressed his view on the sponsorship deal. He stated that his company had been looking for such sponsorship opportunities for a while. Through the FIFA and England sponsorship, William Hill will be able to offer its customers interesting events.
The CEO added that the deal with the FA will enable William Hill to achieve its goal of developing its brand name. The sponsorship agreement which William Hill entered complements its already existing joint ventures with the Scottish Cup and the Scottish Football Association.
